The Netherlands -- October 2012
For a weekend, I took a cheap flight to Amsterdam. My sisters were traveling though the city, and it was great to spend a couple hours with them. I also visited the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh House, the latter of which is one of the best art museums I've ever visited: Amsterdam cool, understated, and full of fantastic art. However, the best part was just wandering around the canals of that city.
